Arrangements and execution of annual departmental meetings, departmental curriculum committee meetings, and faculty evaluation meetings; recruitment of full-time and part-time faculty; undergraduate and graduate student admissions; transfer applications, dual majors, course preparation, and course selection; budget control and coordination; planning and administration of departmental administrative affairs in assistance to the department head.
